CAN YOU USE CHATGPT WITHOUT KILLING YOUR CREDIBILITY?

There are two forces on a potential collision course right now, and both are keys to your effective communication in 2023 and beyond.

On one side is generative AI – ChatGPT and all the other free, publicly available tools that are transforming how we generate content ideas, create graphics, produce video and so much more.

On the other is your credibility – the extent to which you’re worthy of being believed.

After the events of the last few years, trust in leadership and all forms of media is super-low.

Now, with even more fake or plagiarised content and distorted imagery swirling in the public domain, our suspicions are heightened about any information that crosses our path.

Is it possible to use ChatGPT and other forms of generative AI without putting your credibility and reputation at risk?

Is there a sweet spot where these tools meet your authentic self and can comfortably co-exist?

Yes - if you use them to speed up transactional steps – not to replace connection and the exchange of deeper meaning.

My rule of thumb when using generative AI platforms is to balance two elements; time-saving and trustworthy.

Our bot helpers can give us hours back in the day by generating ideas, fast-tracking procedures and creating fit-for-purpose imagery.

The human connection element is still up to us. Don't shirk that responsibility and hand it to a machine.
